CHALLENGE POST - Shack.mov Marauders Challenge

About CHALLENGE POST

CHALLENGE POST Apr. 27th, 2004 @ 02:07 pm Next Entry
Allo, mates! Welcome to the shack_challenge community!

Our purpose can be found in the user info, and we ask you to PLEASE read and follow the rules, especially those concerning NC-17 posts and the necessity of a spell-checker. Other than that, the challenge is really quite simple: nab a set of items featured in the shack.mov tour of the Shrieking Shack (compliments of the movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) tell us in a response to THIS POST what set of items you'll be using, and then go to it!

The due date is 11:59:59 PM, JUNE 3, your entries can be whatever size and rating you choose, and the only restriction is that no two people may have the same set of items. So if someone here chooses a few you want to, just throw in another item or drop one. Shouldn't be too hard, we hope. Then, when you're finished, just post on the community, and share the loveliness of the Shrieking Shack and the Marauders with us all.

Oh, and for the poor unfortunates who can't see the movie, never fear! We have screencaps and a guide to the items, care of between_names. Thank you between_names!!!

So don't be shy; join us and pimp this place wherever you can! Pick a set of items, tell us, and write! And most of all, have fun!!

You're welcome :)

that .txt file is *really* hard to read in a browser, though. I set it up so that, if you wanted, you could use it as the list in your entry, then each link will show up nicely :)

Can't wait to read what comes out of this challenge!

Okies... Mine is ready to go. My list of items is:

Piano; table; fireplace; record albums; bottles on table; phonograph player; bed; chair on platform; staircase.

There are others mentioned in the fic, included in a general statements about the fact that "the clutter of bones and dust and paper was missing" or something like that. ;)

YAY!

Believe it or not, I'll take the scuff marks on the floor :) Or, something like that.

Are we allowed more than one entry? I only have one, but just in case...

Thanks for this challenge - at the mo, I need things like this to get me writing. I'm fairly new to the fandom, and decided it was about time I contributed something. Without further ado, my list:

candle and holder; ladder; blanket

and doubtless other things, but those are the main ones.

Also, anyone know where I'd find a beta? Anyone want to beta for me?

Happy ficcing!

I'm totally writing more than one, but the first one I'm doing, I'm using the bottles, the table, the fireplace, the phonograph and records, and (indirectly) the kitchen. :D
